Whole Wheat Banana Bread

DescriptionBanana bread is a good way to use up bananas that are too ripe to eat.  The whole wheat flour is much healthier than white flour.

1 loaf
1 3/4 C. whole wheat flour
1/2 C. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking power
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 C. walnuts, chopped
1/3 C. oil
2 eggs
2 medium bananas, mashed (about 1 cup)
Methods/steps
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Grease a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.  Mix flour, sugar, baking power, salt, and nuts thoroughly.  Mix oil and eggs together.  Mix in bananas.  Add dry ingredients to banana mixture.  Stir until just smooth.  Pour into loaf pan.  Bake 45 minutes.
