Vegetable Cheese Soup

Ingredients

  • 6 cups water
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 6 potatoes, cut in bite size pieces
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 1-2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp parsley
  • 3 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 10-oz bag chopped broccoli
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
  1. In a large pan, cook vegetables and seasonings in 6 cups of water until tender. Mix flour with milk. Add to thicken. Add butter and cheese
  2. Stir until mixed and cook until hot
