Veal Cube Stew

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds veal stew
  • 1 onion
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • olive oil
  • flour for coating
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 tsp salt and pepper
  • 1 box fresh mushrooms, sliced
  1. In frying pan, put in olive oil, onion and garlic clove, mushrooms, salt and pepper. Brown until tender.
  2. Coat veal with flour, stirring until brown. Then put in the red wine, and simmer on a low heat with cover on for about 50 minutes, or until veal is tender.
  3. Serve with wild rice
