Turkey Noodle Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 large turkey leg
  • 8 to 9 cups water
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 stalks celery, diced
  • 2 small potatoes, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 small tomato, diced
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 tsp basil leaf
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup noodles, broken
  1. Boil turkey leg in water. Remove all fat that comes on top. Add carrots, celery, potatoes, onion and tomato. Bring to boil, reduce heat and add all the spices. When all is cooked, add noodles
  2. Remove turkey leg; when cool enough to handle, remove meat from bone and break into small pieces
  3. Return meat pieces to soup. Simmer for about an hour
