Turkey Gravy
Pan juices fromĀ roasting turkey
flour
chicken broth (you can substitute water or milk in place of the broth)
Pour off the juices into a 4-6 cup measuring cup that will stand to hot liquid. Skim off 1/2 cup of the clear oily liquid (the fat). Pour the 1/2 cup fat into a saucepan or deep frying pan. Mix with 1/2 cup all purpose flour. Cook over medium heat until it bubbles. Skim off the remaining chicken broth or other liquid to make up 4 cups. Gradually add that to the four and fat in the saucepan, stirring constantly until it boils and thickens. Approximately 12 servings.
OPTIONS: Add 1 Tbsp Cookies Flavor Enhancer to the above gravy. You can also add 2 Tbsp Cookies Wings N Things Hot Sauce.
