Tomato Pie


  • 12/1/99 rectangular pizza shell OR 1 1-lb. pizza dough
  • Tomato sauce
  • Grated Romano cheese
  1. Grease a cookie sheet lightly. If you’re using dough, shape into pan; let rise
  2. Spoon sauce onto shell or dough
  3. Sprinkle Romano and/or parmesano reggiano on the top
  4. Bake at 400º for approximately 15 minutes. Check the bottom of pie and it should be golden brown. Watch for next few minutes; it will darken fast
  5. Remove from oven; sprinkle with more grated cheese
