1/4 cup margarine, softened
1/4 cup confectioners sugar
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
1 Tablespoon egg substitute
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted and finely ground
1/8 teaspoon salt

In a bowl cream margarine and sugars. Add egg and vanilla and beat until blended. In another bow combine flour and pecans and salt. Add the flour mixture to the margarine mixture and stir until a soft dough forms. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for an hour.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness on lightly floured surface. Cut cookies out with any cookie cutter. Place on UN-Greased tray. Bake 7-9 min. Cool cokies on wire rack.

makes about 1-1/2 dozen

Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
