Sweet Pastry Dough
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
In a large bowl, with a wire whisk combine flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Cut in butter or margarine, add egg.
Work dough with hands until all sticks together and forms a ball. Wrap with plastic wrap and chill for at least 2 hours.
Roll out onto pastry cloth into a 10-inch round.
Fills one 10-inch pie pan or tart pan.
