4 – 6

¾ C. flour

Dash of salt

2 tsp. baking powder

1 stick (1/4 lb.) butter or margarine (melted in baking dish)

¾ C. milk

¾ C. unsweetened frozen concentrated apple juice

2 C. fruit (apples, strawberries, blueberries, and peaches)

Methods/steps

Make a batter of flour, salt, baking powder, butter, and milk.  Mix apple juice with 1 or 2 tablespoons plain flour.  Spread fruit in bottom of greased baking dish.  Add juice mixture and spread batter mixture on top.  Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.  Can use whole wheat flour in batter.
