Sugar Cream Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 stick butter or margarine (not spread)
  • Nutmeg
  1. Combine first three ingredients. Cook in a saucepan until thick. Take off heat and stir in vanilla and butter till melted. Pour into a half baked pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg
  2. Bake until slightly browned
  3. Cool and serve
