Strawberry Pie


  • 1 baked pie shell, cooled
  • strawberries, washed (leave whole or cut in half)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 4 Tbsp strawberry Jell-O
  • 3 Tbsp cornstarch
  1. Fill a 9 inch deep pie shell with as many strawberries as desired
  2. Mix sugar, boiling water, Jell-O and cornstarch. Boil 3 minutes, then set in pan of cold water to cool. Add red food coloring to desired color, if you want to
  3. When cool, pour over strawberries in pie shell
  4. Cool in refrigerator at least 4 hours so it will cut nice. Add whipping cream when served
