Snowy Chocolate Pudding

1 C. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 C. sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa for batter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 C. milk
1/2 C. chopped nuts
2 Tbsp. melted shortening
2 Tbsp. cocoa for topping
3/4 C. brown sugar, packed
1 C. water
1/2 C. heavy cream, whipped
Methods/steps
Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, cocoa, and salt together. Stir in milk, vanilla, shortening and nuts. Pour into greased 8x8x2″ pan. Mix brown sugar and 2 Tbsp. cocoa. Sprinkle over batter, and then pour hot water over all. Bake in 350 degrees oven for 35 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream.
