3 Cup Flour
1 level tsp.salt
2 level tsp. baking powder
1 Cup shorting or shorting and butter (old recipe called for lard)
1 1/3 Cup Ice-cold water or about that
Sift flour,salt and baking powder;rub in lightly with fingers the shorting.Mix to a firm dough with the ice-cold waterand roll out once on a floured board. All purpose crust.
Bake according to use as usual.
