Scotch Eggs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground pork sausage, mild or hot
  • 6 large hard cooked eggs, peeled
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil
  1. Divide sausage into 6 equal portions; press each portion around 1 hard cooked egg.
  2. Dip each sausage coated egg into beaten egg, and roll in breadcrumbs.
  3. Deep fry in hot oil (350ยบ) for 9 minutes; drain well.
  4. Cut eggs in half & serve immediately
