Savory Butternut Sauté
- 1 (2-Pound) butternut squash, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch slices
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- Dash salt
- 3 tablespoons butter
- Place squash in single layer on a large platter or baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with basil, brown sugar, and salt. Let stand for 30 minutes.
- Melt butter in a skillet; add squash, turning pieces to coat with butter. Cover and cook over low heat 15 to 20 minutes or until tender.
