Sausage Cheese Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 lbs pork sausage (hot)
  • 1 lb Velvetta Cheese, cut in chunks
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 16-oz jar Picante sauce
  • 1-2 dashes chili powder
  • 6 to 8 drops Tabasco sauce
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped (optional)
  1. Heat empty crock
  2. Place margarine in pot and melt
  3. Crumble sausage in a large skillet and cook until browned
  4. Drain and keep warm
  5. Place cheese in a microwave bowl and melt
  6. Pour all ingredients into the crockpot
  7. Cook on low for 20 to 30 minutes or until very hot and cheese is thinned
