Pumpkin Tea Bread


3 c. sugar

1 c. oil

3 eggs

2 c. pumpkin

3 c. flour

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. baking powder

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. cloves

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. nutmeg


Mix sugar, eggs and oil together. Alternate dry ingredients and pumpkin and add to first mixture. Mix well. Line bottom of angel food pan with waxed paper. Pour mixture into pan and bake at 350 degrees for 75 minutes. May be used as a dessert or fancy bread.
