Potato/Cheese/Onion Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 stalks celery, sliced
  • 1 to 2 Tblsp. butter or margarine
  • 4 to 5 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 package onion soup mix
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 8 oz. Velveeta cheese
  • Water
  1. In medium saucepan, sauté celery in butter until tender. Add potatoes, onion soup mix and water to cover. Cook until potatoes are tender.
  2. Add cream cheese; mix well.
  3. Add Velveeta; mix well and serve when hot
