Pizza Sauce & Dough

Ingredients

Pizza Sauce

  • 1 can tomato sauce.
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp parmesan cheese
  • Shake a few flakes of red pepper flakes

Dough recipe:

  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 pkg. quick rising yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbs. vegetable oil
  • 3 3/4 cups flour
  1. Dissolve yeast in bowl with hot water, stir in salt, sugar, and oil. Stir until salt and sugar are dissolved. Add about 2 cups of four and mix.
  2. Continue to add flour a little at a time until you have a stiff dough. Knead for 6 to 8 minutes. Form into ball and place in greased bow, cover with towel and let rise until doubled in bulk.
  3. When ready to bake, divide dough in half and roll into 12 to 14 inch diameter crust.
