Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookies
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons Clabber Girl Baking Powder
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 cup (8 oz.) white baking bar, (with cocoa butter), chopped
In a large mixing bowl, cream together margarine, shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla; set aside. In a separate bowl, sift together flour and Clabber Girl Baking Powder. Stir flour mixture into creamed mixture until combined. Add chocolate chips, pecans and chopped white baking bar. Mix thoroughly.
Drop by tablespoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
Makes approximately 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
