Orange Marmalade Cookies
1/3 cup shortening
2/3 cup sugar
6 tablespoons orange marmalade
1 1/2 cups sifted flour
2 teaspoons Rumford Baking Powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1. Cream shortening, add sugar gradually, creaming until light and fluffy.
2. Add egg and beat well.
3. Fold in marmalade.
4. Sift flour, Rumford Baking Powder and salt and add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
5. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased baking sheet and bake in moderate oven (375° F.) 8-10 minutes.
Makes 3 to 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
