Onion and Frank Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp butter or margarine
  • 2 large onions, peeled and thinly sliced into rings
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 4 cups beef stock
  • 4 frankfurters, diagonally sliced
  • 1 cup finely sliced cabbage
  • freshly ground black pepper
  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan and saut̩ the onion for 3 Р4 minutes or until softened. Add the mustard and beef stock, simmer gently for 10 Р15 minutes. Add the frankfurters, cabbage and pepper. Heat through.
