1 cup Hodgson Mill white flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon Clabber Girl Baking Powder
1/8 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1 cup Hodgson Mill rye flour
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
2 tablespoons margarine or butter
3/4 cup half & half
1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions (including green tops)
In a mixing bowl, mix flour, salt, Clabber Girl Baking Powder, basil leaves, rye flour and dried rosemary together thoroughly. Add melted butter, half & half and green onions; stir until moistened. Form a ball with the dough and lightly dust with flour. Place on greased baking sheet and mold into a 12-inch wide round shape. With a sharp knife, score top slightly, 1/4 ” deep, into 8 wedges. Do not cut completely through the dough.
Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes, or until browned.
