No-Bake Holiday Cookies
Now, thanks to Sara Lee Pound Cake, decorated cookies, so good even Santa will like them and so quick and easy they accommodate the most hectic schedule, are possible. It’s as simple as slice, spread and sprinkle. They’re so easy children can make them and, when personalized with candy letters, they can be used for place cards on your Holiday table.
1 (10 3/4 oz.) Sara Lee Pound Cake, frozen
1 (8 oz.) container prepared chocolate frosting or other favorite-flavor frosting
Sprinkles, cake decorations, prepared tube decorator icings, and/or hard candies
Cut Pound Cake horizontally into 3 or 4 equal-size layers, depending on desired thickness. Use a variety of cookie cutter to make shapes; decorate with prepared frostings, sprinkles, candy letters and shapes. Makes about 12 cookies.
