Mud Pie-Chart House Restaurant


  • 1/2 package Nabisco Famous Chocolate Wafers
  • 1/3 cube butter, melted
  • 1 quart coffee ice cream, softened (we find Baskin-Robbins Jamoca Almond Fudge works really well)
  • 1-1/2 cups fudge sauce (add more if you like)
  1. Crush wafers, add butter, mix well with fork
  2. Press onto bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Chill 1/2 hour. Fill with the softened ice cream
  3. Freeze 1 hour. Cover top with fudge sauce. Freeze until topping is firm
  4. Can store in freezer until ready to use
  5. Top each portion with whipped cream and slivered almonds
