INGREDIENTS:

 

  • 2 cups rice
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 cups cream or fresh milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp lemon extract
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • butter

STEP BY STEP:

 

  1. Cook rice with water until tender. Drain and add eggs, cream, sugar, flavoring, spices, and raisins
  2. Dot with butter in a glass baking dish
  3. Cook at 300 degrees F. for 45 minutes or until done when a knife inserted into the center comes out clean, and top is golden brown
