Moist & Tender Turkey Breast

Cook Time: 1 hour 45 min. to 2 hours 30 min.
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 1/2- to 5-pound turkey breast
2 cans (10 1/2 ounces each) Franco-AmericanŽ Turkey Gravy
1. Rinse turkey with cold water and pat dry. Sprinkle with pepper. Place turkey, meat-side up, on rack in shallow roasting pan. Spoon 1 can gravy evenly over turkey. Insert meat thermometer into thickest part of meat, not touching bone.
2. Roast at 350°F. for 1 3/4 to 2 1/2 hours or until thermometer reads 170°F. Begin checking doneness after 1 1/2 hours roasting time. Allow turkey to stand 10 minutes before slicing.
3. In small saucepan heat remaining gravy. Serve with turkey. Serves 6 to 8.
VARIATION: In medium saucepan over medium heat, heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil. Add 3 cloves garlic, chopped, and 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning, crushed, and cook until garlic is golden. Remove from heat. Stir in 2 cans gravy. Spoon half of gravy mixture over turkey breast before roasting. Refrigerate remaining gravy until serving time. Heat remaining gravy and serve with roasted turkey.
