Mile High Strawberry Pie
1 10oz. pkg. frozen strawberries or raspberries (may use fresh, sliced, with sugar added)
1 cup granulated sugar
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
2 egg whites
1/2 pint whipping cream or 1 pkg. dream whip
1 deep-dish or two regular baked pastry shells (or graham cracker crusts)
Place all ingreadients except cream into large mixing bowl; beat on high for 15 minutes, or until stiff. In a separate bowl whip the cream; fold into berry mixture. Pour into 1 or 2 baked pastry shells or graham cracker crusts.
Freeze several hours or overnight. (chocolate crumb crust is excellent with raspberries).
