Meringue for Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 3 tsp. cold water
  • Pinch salt
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  1. Beat egg whites, water and salt until very stiff.
  2. Gradually add sugar, beating after each addition. Continue beating and add cornstarch until mixed in
  3. Cover to edges of pie and bake 325º until brown to your taste.
