Meringue

Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites (room temp)
  • 1/4 tsp. cream of tarter
  • 6 tbls. sugar
  1. Beat egg whites with cream of tarter until frothy: gradually beat in sugar, a little at a time.
  2. Beat until meringue stands in firm glossy peaks.
  3. Spread meringue on filling, making sure it touches inner edge of crust around pie.
  4. Bake at 350ยบ for 15 minutes.
  5. Cool.
