Description Makes a thick spreadable paste similar to the Loma Linda Sandwich Spread that has been discontinued or Humus. I like it on home made bread with a dill pickle but it is good plain. It is also an excelent cracker spread. Seasonings are optional, you can try other nut butters if your not into peanuts. A list of ingredients from the can is included for reference.

1 15.5oz can of Garbanzo beans, drained.

1 3.8oz can of black olives, drained.

1 6oz can of tomato paste.

3 1/2oz of tofu, firm, about 1/4 of a 140z package.

2 Tb of peanut butter.

1 tsp Lemon juice.

1/2 tsp celery seeds.

1/2 of small jar of pimentos.

1 tsp Onion powder.

1/2 tsp of accent, (optional has msg, increase the salt to taste.)

1/4 tsp sea salt.

Dash of Braggs.

Methods/steps
  1. Cream all ingredients in a food processor.

Water, ripe olives (ripe olives, salt, ferrous gluconate), garbanzo beans, peanut butter (peanuts), tomato puree (tomatoes, citric acid), and soy flour, contains 2% or less of red peppers (sweet red peppers, citric acid), yeast extract, salt, hydrolyzed soy and corn protein, dextrose, onion powder, caramel color, vitamins [niacinamide, calcium pantothenate, vitamin B1 (thiamine mononitrate), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin)], spices, and celery extract
