Lemon Chicken Bake


1 tsp dried thyme leaves
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 pound chicken pieces
Combine all ingredients, except the chicken, in a plastic gallon zipper bag. Close the bag and shake to combine. Add chicken to the bag and marinate in the refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 450 F. Spray an 8×8 glass baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Arrange chicken skin side down and pour liquid over the chicken. Bake for 20 minutes then turn the chicken over and baste it. Bake another 15-20 minutes more or until chicken is tender and juice run clear.
