Layered Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 9 in. unbaked pie shell
  • 1-1/4 c. pecans, chopped
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  1. Combine 1st 3 ingredients; beat until smooth
  2. Add 1 egg and vanilla; beat well and spoon into pastry shell. Sprinkle with pecans
  3. Combine 3 eggs, corn syrup, sugar and vanilla; beat well and pour over pecans
  4. Bake at 375ยบ for 35 to 40 minutes or until set
