Italian Vegetable Soup
Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef (lean)
1 cup diced onion
1 cup sliced celery
1 cups sliced carrots
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 clove garlic
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
2 cups water
5 tsp. bouillon powder (beef)
1 Tbsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
salt and pepper to taste
2 cups cut-up cabbage
1 cup green beans
1/2 cup macaroni
Instructions
Brown beef. Add rest of ingredients, except macaroni. Bring to a boil. Cover and cook slow until cabbage is tender. Then add macaroni and more water, if too thick.
