- 1 medium onion, chopped (1 cup)
- 2 T butter
- 2 c diced cooked ham
- 2 pkgs. (10 oz each) frozen lima beans
- 2 cans condensed tomato-rice soup
- 4 c water
- 2 c thinly sliced celery
- 2 cans (1 lb each) cream-style corn
- Sauté onion in butter until soft in large saucepan, push to one side, brown ham in pan drippings, add lima beans, soup, water and celery, cover. Simmer 15 minutes or until beans are tender.
- Stir in corn. Heat slowly just to boiling.
