Indiana Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 T. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 cups cooked green beans or corn, drained
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. oregano
  • 1 10-ounce can tomato soup
  • double pie crust
  1. Prepare pastry for 2-crust pie. Line 9 inch pie pan with half the pastry. Roll out top crust.
  2. Brown ground beef and chopped onion in skillet. Stir in sugar, pepper, beans/corn, salt, oregano, and tomato soup. Pour into pastry-lined pan, add top crust, and cut slits in it.
  3. Bake at 400 F for 25 minutes.
