Description This versatile dip can be eaten with crackers, or in a sandwich. Making this at home is simple, and very inexpensive.

1 (15 oz.) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
1/2 C. plain yogurt
2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
2 tsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. olive oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1 Tbsp. tahini
Methods/steps
Mix all ingredients together in a food processor or blender. Mix until smooth.

Tahini is roasted sesame seed paste. This can be found in the ethnic food section. If this is unavailable, you may substitute creamy peanut butter for this.
