Huevos Haminados

Ingredients

  • 6 Hard-cooked eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon tea leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon coffee grounds
  • 3 or 4 onion skins for color
  • 1 teaspoon cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • Water to cover eggs
  1. Bring to a boil, cover pot and reduce heat to low.
  2. Simmer at least 5 hours.  Add water now and then if needed.
  3. Drain and chill.  Remove shells to serve.  The eggs will be brown and tasty.
