Hot Mustard Pretzel Dip

Ingredients

  • 1/4 C. ground mustard
  • 1/4 C. vinegar
  • 1/4 C. sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 T. honey
  • pretzels
  1. In a small saucepan, combine mustard and vinegar; let stand for 30 minutes.
  2. Whisk in the sugar and egg yolk until smooth.
  3. Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until mixture just begins to simmer and is thickened, about 7 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat, whisk in honey. Chill.
  5. Serve with pretzels.
  6. Store in refrigerator.
