Hot Beans

Ingredients

1/4 lb. bacon, cut up
4 onions, chopped
1 lb. can “pork and beans”
1/2 c. dark brown sugar, packed
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper, ground
Instructions
Fry bacon in suitable pot. Add onions and cayenne, and cook until half done. Stir in sugar and beans, simmer a few moments before serving.
