Honey Ginger Flank Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 2-lb flank steak
  • 2/3 c oil
  • 1/3 c soy sauce
  • 2 T fresh orange juice
  • 2 T grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 4 T honey
  • 4 T sherry vinegar
  • 2 scallions finely minced
  • salt & pepper to taste
  1. Place steak in glass dish
  2. Whisk oil, soy sauce, orange juice, ginger, garlic, honey, vinegar, & minced scallions
  3. Pour half over the steak, turn steak & pour over remaining half
  4. Cover & refrigerate 2-4 hours (no more) turning meat once or twice
  5. Oil grill
  6. Grill 5-6 minutes per side for medium rare
  7. Season during final 2 minutes with pepper & salt
