Holiday Bread Stuffing For Chicken And Turkey


1 loaf Italian Bread or 8 bulkie rolls – dry (2 or 3 days old)

2 lg. onions

3 carrots

Parsley, opt.

Fried onions, opt.

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

1/8 tsp. allspice

1/4 tsp. paprika

1 or 2 eggs

Water to moisten, if you like



Cube or grate bread (depending on how dry it is). Grate onions and grate carrots. Combine all ingredients. Hint: When stuffing the chicken put a slice or heel of bread at the tail opening to keep the stuffing in.
