Hamburger Stew
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1 can tomatoes with liquid
- 1 cup diced carrot
- 1 cup chopped cabbage
- 2 cups frozen corn
- 1 can cut green beans or lima beans drained
- 1 cup long grain rice
- 2 or 3 cups water or tomato or vegetable juice
- In skillet cook beef, drain. Stir in onion soup mix & tomatoes. Simmer 10 minutes.
- Add carrot, potato, cabbage, corn and beans. Cover and simmer 20 minutes
- Add rice and water or juice and simmer additional 20 minutes or until rice is cooked.
