Griddle Syrup


4 c. sugar
1/2 c. light brown sugar
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. maple flavor


Combine sugars, syrup, and water. Stir until dissolved. Bring to a boil, cover and let boil gently 10 minutes. (Don’t stir.) Remove from heat, cool slightly. Add flavoring, stir to dissolve. Let cool if you prefer or serve warm, not hot.
