6 c. rolled oats
3/4 c. wheat germ
1 c. bran (optional)
1/3 – 2/3 c. honey
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. sunflower seeds
1/3 c. sesame seeds
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. oil
1/2 c. raisins
2 tsp. cinnamon


Mix together all dry ingredients, except raisins, in a 3 quart bowl or casserole. Mix oil, honey and brown sugar in glass measuring cup. Melt in microwave. Pour liquid measure into dry ingredients. Mix with wooden spoon or your hand. Microwave on High for about 13 minutes. Stir occasionally. Cool on cookie sheet, that makes it more crisp. Store in an air tight container. Makes about 8 cups. .
