German Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 pkg yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1 can sliced apples, drained
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 egg, or 2 yolks
  1. Mix butter, cake mix & coconut. Pat mixture into bottom of greased 9×13″ pan
  2. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes
  3. Cover crust with drained apples
  4. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle on apples
  5. Blend sour cream and egg
  6. Drizzle over apples
  7. Bake for 25 minutes
