General Pate’s Crab Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 Onion, minced
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp flour
  • 1 Can (10-1/2oz) condensed tomato soup
  • 1 Quart Half and Half
  • 2 6-1/2 oz cans white crab meat
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 Cup sherry
  1. Saute’ onion in butter, stir in flour. Add tomato soup and gradually stir in Half and Half
  2. Cook for 10-minutes. Add crab meat and season to taste
  3. Heat through but do not boil
  4. Add sherry and serve at once
