Fruit Cocktail Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 cups canned fruit cocktail, drained
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. In a bowl, whisk together dry ingredients. Stir in egg and fruit. Pour mixture into a 9 inch pie plate sprayed with vegetable spray
  3. Sprinkle on the brown sugar and chopped nuts
  4. Bake 35 to 45 minutes or until lightly browned and set
  5. Serve warm or at room temperature with whipped cream (I use Cool-Whip)
