Fresh Peach Pie

Ingredients

  • 9″ baked pie shell
  • 2 cups sliced fresh peaches
  • 1 cup mashed peaches
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 1/2 T. cornstarch
  1. Fill 9″ baked pie shell with 2 cups sliced fresh peaches.
  2. In a saucepan, boil 1 cup mashed peaches, 1/2 cup orange juice and 1 cup of sugar that has been mixed with 2 1/2 T. cornstarch, until mixture is clear and slightly thickened. Pour over peaches in pie shell.
  3. Chill thoroughly. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream
