French Coconut Custard Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 9″ unbaked pie shell
  • 1-1/2 cup flaked or shredded coconut
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1-1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 Tblsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Place coconut in unbaked pie crust.
  3. Mix all other ingredients together & pour over coconut.
  4. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Turn oven temperature to 325 degrees & bake for 40 minutes or until top is golden & custard is set.
